Roberta Lloyd

A graduate of Penn State Univ. as a Mechanical Engineering, I spent my career living in my left brain, dealing with logic, numbers, and dates. I retired in July 2021, after almost 30 years in the utility boiler industry as a project planner. Almost a year later, I stopped by a craft store, bought a paintbrush, and a new passion was discovered. The enthusiastic support of my husband Tim, daughter Sarah, and dear friends have empowered my creativity to flourish into Coastal Waves Art.

Acrylic Pouring is chaotic engineering to me! There is still fit, form and function. In every pouring I do, whether it is a canvas, a tray, a cutting board, or a wine glass, I see texture, I see water flow, I see connectivity, I see right brain engineering! Color selection is still my tallest hurdle...but I am getting at clearing those hurdles!
